Our first aid supply outside of Kathmandu

With more than 1000kg of food (rice, dhal, sugar, oil, salt, cookies, noodle soups, powder milk) and some blankets and mattresses that Norbu could luckily all buy at different places in Kathmandu, we went today outside of Kathmandu to supply 67 families living at 2000 meters above sea level in the hilly parts of Nepal.
The scenes we have discovered at our arrival were again very impressive and touching. Already while driving through Kathmandu to go to these villages, we saw rescue teams working hard in the middle of the debris in the hope to find some more survivors, houses that are just waiting for the moment to collapse totally.
The next step is to bring more than 500kg of rice and other food to the airport to put in the helicopters for some more villages.

Once more Norbu and myself wanna sincerely thank you so much for all your supportive messages and requests for help. Every contribution to our "Butterfly Help Project" is a great contribution for these families that have lost everything for which we try to do our best thanks to the great knowledge of Norbu. Already with CHF 20.- we can buy for one week rice for one family...which is the usual daily food for the local people.
