Time has arrived yet to leave in a few hours for the next big expedition:Manaslu (8163 m) after having stayed almost 10 days in Kathmandu. I am really excited to go back to mountain :-)
There is again lots of material. This is always very impressive to see how much material, food and climbing material is needed and you must not forget anything, no shopping then :-) To buy food for more than 40 days is already a challenge!
It will take us approximately eight days to reach the base camp first by jeep in the valley out of Kathmandu, which will be a shaking trip on rough roads...and then by foot for the acclimatization.
I hope to be able to give you some further news while we are on the way!
