More than 6hours of driving by bus in the heat and humidity of the lower lands of the Kathmandu region with more than 900kilos of equipment for our exedition to Himlung Himal (7126m), we arrived after three days of hiking to our last stop before reaching the base camp. From 800 meters altitude till 2500, we have crossed beautiful landscapes. The waterfalls are flowing to the rivers with lots of power due to the rain season, the fields and rocks are covered by a bright green carpet and the flowers are lightening the whole atmosphere. The pesticides and other toxic products haven't reached the region, amazing butterflies are dancing around us along the way and the local people are always welcoming us with their friendly manners. From tomorrow on, the Adventure will start direction base camp of Himlung! Further news and pictures will follow... Namaste!
